Every Monday, I share micro case studies to grow your newsletter and BTS from our community for solopreneurs.
Tea from my life
I started reading this new book, Tiny Experiments, by Anne-Laure Le Cunff. Good so far. I have also watched Dhurandar 2, spent time with my sister, and watched the latest episode of THE PITT.

Analysis in 300 words
We have our own reasons for inconsistency with newsletters, so instead of a framework, I am sharing how I countered my inconsistency problem.
I thought deeply about what makes me procrastinate. It’s not a busy schedule or lack of topics. But that I am a perfectionist.
I always thought writing long editions (1000+ words) and being extremely nuanced was the only way to deliver value. I want to write the “perfect edition”, and I always end up with a “not good enough to publish yet” draft. Sometimes I don’t even start.
Then I had to unlearn what value means, and that you can be useful in under 500 words (which is why this section now has a 300-word limit).
As a solution, I decided to create a newsletter template with different sections.
Each section prompts me to answer a question, taking me away from the idea of the perfect essay.
Tea from my life: What’s the most fun thing you did that you’d like to share with your readers?
Analysis in 300 words: What is the most useful insight you have for our readers from last week?
Today’s Partner: Who are our sponsors?
Sneekpeak into the community: What is one interesting message our community members shared last week?
Marketing resources inside the community: Go through the resources channel. What’s worth recommending?
Hangouts: What’s coming up in the community that’s worth inviting?
Every Monday when I write Cognition, it’s journaling where I answer 5-8 questions.
Since I am always in the centre of our community and newsletter space, I am never out of stories to share.
It’s one of the most impactful changes I made to my systems. This is the 25th Monday I am publishing without missing a week.
As humans, we love complicating things. But simple = effective.
