Tea from my life
I remember waiting in long queues to get Baahubali tickets as a 16-year-old. I almost got seriously injured in a stampede lol.
10 years later, I watched Baahubali again in theaters. As someone who has been following Telugu movies forever and particularly Baahubali’s making from Day 1, this was peak nostalgia weekend for me.
Analysis in 150 words
I ordered a rice bowl from Eatfit by HRX last week. They sent me this note:

I loved the functionality and economics of the note.
Handwritten notes feel personal, but you can’t do it at scale. So they’ve just written one and printed it.
Looks like the sticky notes we leave in our kitchen. Makes us feel like HRX is one of us.
Costs of this gesture are almost negligible.
The note will drive more ratings than a push notification ever could.
If you want to make your users feel good, it doesn’t have to be with grand gestures. Simple, mindful actions work too.
(Why does this sound like relationship advice??)

We haven’t monetized the newsletter yet and when we crossed 1000 subscribers last week, Reyana asked what gave us the confidence to invest money.
