I am having a love-hate relationship with this December. I have travel plans and I am soooooo looking forward to them. But I also want to stay home and do nothing.

There’s a long list of tasks I need to get done this week to have zero work during my travel. I don’t want to end up like Arjun from ZNMD. Wish me luck.

Why should you start a newsletter?

If I have to reason in bullet points,

  • In 2024, 15.6 billion emails were sent only on Beehiiv. There will be a significant rise when the 2026 state newsletter report is released. By 2027, half of the world’s population will be on email. Source.

  • You will have ownership of the audience. Ownership = Reaching out to your people at will.

  • Easier to collect first-party data and stay relevant.

  • If your ICP as a creator or business owner hangs out digitally or makes decisions on emails, newsletters are gold.

  • Email is the highest digital ROI channel.
